Scribe & Charm specialises in jewellery, including custom and personalised charm pieces.

By placing an order for a personalised item:

• You confirm all spelling, dates, and details are correct before checkout
• You understand that previews (if provided) are a guide only
• Final products may vary slightly due to material, engraving, or printing processes

Image Uploads

When you upload an image for use on a product, you confirm that:

• You own the image or have permission to use it
• The image does not infringe any copyright, trademark, or third-party rights
• The image does not contain unlawful, offensive, or inappropriate content

We reserve the right to:

• Refuse any image we deem inappropriate or legally questionable
• Cancel and refund your order if necessary

We are not responsible for image quality issues resulting from:

• Low resolution uploads
• Poor lighting or image clarity
• Cropping limitations

3. ORDERS & CONTRACT FORMATION

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase.

A contract is only formed when:

• Payment has been successfully processed
• Your order has been accepted and dispatched

Due to the nature of our products:

Personalised Items

• Non-refundable and non-returnable unless faulty or damaged
• This includes all custom jewellery and photo charm items

Non-Personalised Items

• Can be returned within 14 days of receipt
• Must be unused and in original condition

Faulty or Damaged Items

• Must be reported within 14 days of delivery
• We will offer a replacement or refund where appropriate

Cancellations

• Orders may only be cancelled before production begins
• Once a personalised item enters production, it cannot be cancelled

7. PRODUCT CARE & WEAR

Our jewellery may require proper care to maintain its appearance.

We are not responsible for:

• Tarnishing due to improper care
• Damage from water, chemicals, or misuse
• General wear and tear over time

Care instructions should be followed where provided. 

8. PROMOTIONS & DISCOUNTS

• Codes cannot be combined unless stated
• Promotions are time-limited
• Discounts cannot be applied after purchase
• We reserve the right to withdraw promotions at any time

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All website content, designs, and product concepts are owned by Scribe & Charm.

By submitting images or content, you grant Scribe & Charm a limited licence to:

• Store and process it for production purposes

We will not use your images for marketing without your permission.

You remain responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any uploaded content.

11. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We may use third-party providers (including Shopify and delivery partners).

We are not responsible for:

• Third-party tools or services
• External websites linked from our store

12. RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY

Our store is powered by Shopify; however:

• All purchases are made directly with Scribe & Charm
• Shopify is not liable for any issues relating to your order
